The Project Located in the Southern Nations, Nationalities and People’s Regional State and has a physical performance of 7.31 percent.

The objective of the project is to dig deep water well and extend pipeline for the supply of potable water service to the university community.

The Project is located in Afar National Regional State with a contract value of Birr 581,570,316.0.

The Tendaho Dam and Irrigation Project, which is located around Logiya town of the Afar State at a cost of over 4.1 ETB, was started in 1997 E.C and completed in 2009 E.C. The project included the construction of 72 km main canal as well as primary, secondary and tertiary canals. The Tendaho dam, which has a capacity of holding 1.8 billion cubic meters of water, can develop 60,000 hectares of land. 

The Rib Dam and Irrigation Development Project, which is located in South Gondar Zone of Amhara State a cost of 3.1 billion ETB, was started in Oct. 2000 E.C and completed in Jan 2011 E.C.The dam has a height of 99.5m and length of 800m, can hold up to 234 million cubic meters of water and can cultivate more than 20,000 hectares of land. 

The Kesem Dam and Irrigation Development Project, which is launched in Afar State at a cost of costs 2.6 billion birrs, was started in Sep 1997 E.C and completed in 2009 E.C. The dam is capable of holding 500 million cubic meters of water and can cultivate more than 20,000 hectares of land.

The Kuraz Sugar Factory Construction Project, which is launched in South N.N.P. State for 572.2 million ETB, was started in Dec 2006 E.C and completed in Sep 2010E.C.

The Tendaho Irrigation Development Project, which is launched around Logiya town of the Afar State at a cost of over 98.6 million ETB, aimed at developing additional 500 hectares of land.

The Tendaho Clean Water Supply Project, which is launched in Afar State at a cost of over 57Million ETB, aimed at providing clean water service for the workers of Tendaho sugar manufacturing factory and the surrounding area. The project was started in 2001 E.C and completed in 2009 E.C.
