Men's Table Tennis Team Defeats its Counterpart 3 to 0

The table tennis team of Ethiopian Construction Works Corporation (ECWC), which is participating in the family sport festival competition of Confederation of Ethiopian Trade Union, defeated the Agricultural Works Corporation with a difference of 3 to 0 by dominating the game, according to Mr. Daniel Taddesse, the leader of the team.
Mr. Daniel said that the first round of the competition has been completed and the second round of the competition will start soon. He added that his team will work hard for the cup.

Women employees of the Ethiopian Construction Works Corporation (ECC) called up on synchronizing efforts with pertinent bodies toward ensuring their rights.
At a meeting held in connection with the ‘International Women Day’ on 28 Mar. 2024 Women and Children Affairs Department Representative, El-Bethel Mohamed said though the corporation organized a department with a view to safeguarding women’s rights, employees could not effectively make use of it.
While presenting a paper at the meeting, a Psychologist with the department, El-Shadai Tesfa-Giorgis said the International Women’s Day was celebrated at national level under the theme “Let Us Empower Women; Ensure Development and Peace”.

Ethiopian Construction Works Corporation (ECWC) women's table tennis team, which is being participating in the Ethiopian Workers' Summer Months Sports Competition, defeated the East African Bottling Plc. table tennis team by a margin of 3-2, according to Daniel Taddesse, the team coordinator.
Mr. Daniel stressed the need for female employees to participate in various sports activities for virtuous personality and to encourage the employees of the corporation those of the participants to achieve better results.

Female workers and management bodies of Ethiopian Construction Works Corporation participated in the 21st round of women's priority five-kilometer running race, which was held under the theme of "Invest in women: accelerate progress ". On the occasion of International Women's Day (March 8), about 200 corporate employees and management bodies of the corporation participate in the race, which started and finished around Atlas Hotel.
