በአማራ ብሔራዊ ክልላዊ መንግስት በሰሜን ጎንደር ዞን በተዳ ከተማ ዙሪያ የሚገኘው የመገጭ ግድብ ግንባታ ፕሮጀክት በህዳር ወር 2006 ዓ.ም ከ5.6 ቢሊዮን ብር በላይ በሆነ ወጪ የተጀመረ ሲሆን ግድቡ 78 ሜትር ቁመት እና ርዝመት አለው። 17,000 ሄክታር መሬት ማልማት የሚችል 890 ሜትር 185 ሚሊዮን ኪዩቢክ ሜትር ውሃ የመያዝ አቅም ያለው።

ፕሮጀክቱ በደቡብ ብሔር ብሔረሰቦችና ሕዝቦች ክልል የሚገኝ ሲሆን አፈጻጸሙ 7.31 በመቶ ደርሷል።

የፕሮጀክቱ አላማ ጥልቅ የውሃ ጉድጓድ መቆፈር እና የቧንቧ መስመር ዝርጋታ ለዩኒቨርሲቲው ማህበረሰብ የንፁህ መጠጥ ውሃ አገልግሎት አቅርቦት ነው።

ፕሮጀክቱ በአፋር ብሄራዊ ክልላዊ መንግስት በብር 581,570,316.0 የኮንትራት ዋጋ ያለው ሲሆን አፈጻጸሙ ከአጠቃላይ ኮንትራቱ 46.63 በመቶው ከአመት እስከ 63 በመቶ ደርሷል።

ከ4.1 ብር በላይ በሆነ ወጪ በአፋር ክልል ሎጊያ ከተማ ዙሪያ የሚገኘው የተንዳሆ ግድብና መስኖ ፕሮጀክት በ1997 ዓ.ም ተጀምሮ በ2009 ዓ.ም የተጠናቀቀው የተንዳሆ ግድብና የመስኖ ፕሮጀክት የ72 ኪሎ ሜትር የዋና ቦይ ግንባታ እንዲሁም የመጀመሪያ ደረጃ፣ የሁለተኛ ደረጃ እና የሶስተኛ ደረጃ ቦዮች. 1.8 ቢሊዮን ኪዩቢክ ሜትር ውሃ የመያዝ አቅም ያለው የተንዳሆ ግድብ 60,000 ሄክታር መሬት ማልማት ይችላል።

በአማራ ክልል ደቡብ ጎንደር ዞን በ3 ነጥብ 1 ቢሊየን ብር ወጪ የተገነባው የርብ ግድብና መስኖ ልማት ፕሮጀክት በጥቅምት ወር 2000 ዓ.ም ተጀምሮ በጥር 2010 ዓ.ም ግንባታው የተጠናቀቀው ግድቡ 99.5 ሜትር ከፍታ እና 800ሜ. እስከ 234 ሚሊዮን ኪዩቢክ ሜትር ውሃ የሚይዝ እና ከ20,000 ሄክታር በላይ መሬት ማልማት ይችላል።

በአፋር ክልል በ2.6 ቢሊዮን ብር ወጪ የተጀመረው የከሰም ግድብና መስኖ ልማት ፕሮጀክት በመስከረም 1997 ዓ.ም ተጀምሮ በ2009 ዓ.ም የተጠናቀቀው ግድቡ 500 ሚሊዮን ኪዩቢክ ሜትር ውሃ የመያዝ አቅም ያለው እና የበለጠ ማልማት የሚችል ነው። ከ 20,000 ሄክታር መሬት.
